Devotion
Sing! Tell! Shout! Listen to the words the Psalmists use to encourage us to proclaim what God has done for us. I love the phrase, "come and see what God has done." Today's devo is going to be super simple. Let's take a moment to reflect on one thing that "God has done" in your life.
If you are anything like me, I spend a lot more time in my prayer life praying for God to "do this, change that, help her, please, please, please!" But I spend LESS time thanking him for all he has ALREADY done. Good thing he is full of patience, because that kind of attitude in one of my kids would drive me crazy.
So let's take a moment this morning to notice what God has done. Don't let it slip by and don't take it for granted. Maybe close your eyes and focus on one thing you are grateful for that God has done. And then spend some time thanking God. Let your heart overflow with praise to him.
