Truly my soul finds rest in God;
my salvation comes from him.
Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.

To start your day I want to encourage you. Take a moment. Think about the power and truth of this verse from Psalms.
Why is it that your soul can truly rest in God? (Some translations say in God ALONE which I love.) Because in him ONLY do we find salvation. He becomes our rock, our salvation, and our fortress. And when we make him our rock, our salvation, and our fortress - we will truly never be shaken.
This is the beauty of God's gracious offer to us. You can build your life on him (rock). He doesn't shift or change, you know that his word is true and that is will never be shaken. You can find shelter from the storms of life in him (fortress). He is always there for you. He promises to shelter you from shame, condemnation, and fear. And you can find your freedom and healing in him (salvation). Look to him to find your life. Your purpose. Your joy. Your freedom.
God is so in love with you. Think about this picture. He wants to be the ground under your feet, and the roof over your head. He wants to surround you!!!! He goes before you and behind you. YOU. ARE. NOT. ALONE.
Lean into this verse today. He is for you!
