Verse: Psalm 23:1-3
The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
3 he refreshes my soul.
I woke up today thinking about this verse. And I want to ask you to meditate on this verse this morning. This will be a shorter devotion because I don't have much to say. It's more of an assignment for you.
Read this slowly and then meditate on what it would mean for you to let Jesus lead you beside quiet waters, make you lie down in green pastures, and restore your soul. How would that look for you?
Does your soul need to be refreshed? Do you need to be filled? Do you need rest? Do you need to let the Lord be the shepherd of your soul this morning? To speak encouragement over you? To remind you of his love for you? To remind you that you are not alone?
Take a moment this morning and rest in this verse. Allow the Lord to minister it to you.
