Infinity

Verse: 1 John 5:13-15

13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life. 14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.

Thoughts
God loves to hear you pray. Did you know that? He loves to talk to you, to hear your heart, to listen to your fears and concerns, and to know your dreams and goals.

Your prayers are not a burden to God. He is not too busy for you. He is not distracted when you talk to him.

When you talk to him you are not too small for him to notice. Your prayers are not inconsequential. He is not so concerned with "bigger issues" that he doesn't care about you and your issues.

To really understand this, we have to understand infinity. Which of course is impossible. Infinity can't be measured. It never runs out. It goes on forever. God has an infinite ability to listen to every single thing you want to say. And he has an infinite love and concern for every detail of your life.

Jesus said in Luke 12:7, that "indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered."

Today, let this be your encouragement. God cares about the big and small things in your life. And he wants to hear about all of them. He loves you more than you can fathom. And your prayers are a blessing to him. He loves to hear you pray. So don't hold back!

Prayer
Thank you that you are always listening, and full of love for me when I pray God!
